Graduate Council

The Graduate Council represents the graduate faculty across CMU's campus. It is a committee of the Academic Senate, charged to serve as the advisory body for the College of Graduate Studies as well as the policy-making body for graduate curricular matters. As the advisory body, it provides perspective to the college on all aspects of graduate education such as development and evaluation of graduate programs, minimum admission and graduation requirements, and fellowship guidelines, as well as other graduate matters which arise. As the policy-making body it is concerned with graduate curricular matters including course additions, revisions, and deletions. Current membership of the Graduate Council includes:
