MSA 681 Administrative Practicum
All MSA Students are required to take three courses: (1) MSA 600, MSA 634 or MSA 635, and MSA 640. Other core courses must be selected in consultation with the student's academic advisor. A total of 15-21 hours must be taken in the administrative core. All MSA students are also required to take either MSA 685 (3 hours) or MSA 690 (6 hours).

Actively participate in a practical on the job experience in an administrative setting.
Observe and evaluate a practical administrative experience in a "real world" setting and link that experience to improvement of the student's administrative skills.
Synthesize the experience in a comprehensive written report.
Learn skills that will assist in successful transitions for employment in administrative positions.
Develop a functional understanding of a department or organization

This course provides students with an introductory professional experience of an administrative/supervisory nature in an administrative setting. For students with limited or no administrative experience.
