MSA 681 Administrative Practicum
All MSA students are required to take three courses: (1) MSA 600, MSA 602 or MSA 634 or MSA 635, and MSA 640. Other core courses must be selected in consultation with the student's academic advisor. A total of 15-21 hours must be taken in the administrative core. All MSA student are required to take MSA 685 or MSA 699. MSA 681 is an optional course recommended for students with no administrative experience.

Observe and evaluate a practical administrative experience in a "real world" setting and link that experience to improvement of the student's administrative skills.
Synthesize the experience in a comprehensive written report.

Develop a functional understanding of a department or organization

This course provides students with an introductory professional experience of an administrative/supervisory nature in an administrative setting. For students with limited or no administrative experience.
